Adam Wagler

Adam Wagler serves as the Associate Dean for Academic Programs at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, overseeing undergraduate and graduate programs within the College of Journalism and Mass Communications since 2006. With experience as an Associate Professor and Director of Undergraduate Programs, Adam focuses on research in user experience (UX) and interactive strategies in various fields, while also managing curriculum development and student affairs. Adam has contributed to higher education through roles as a Multimedia Instructional Designer and advertising faculty member, teaching courses on new media and visual literacy. In addition to academic positions, Adam has a background in graphic and web design through Wagler Designs and past roles at Hudl and US Expo & Conventions Services. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Instructional Technology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a BFA in Visual Studies from Iowa State University.
