Kathy Farrell

Kathy Farrell is a seasoned academic leader with extensive experience in finance, currently serving as the Dean of the College of Business at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln since August 1993. In addition to this role, Kathy has held various positions within the university, including Professor of Finance, Interim Dean, Chair of the Department of Finance, Associate Dean, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor of Finance. Prior to their tenure at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Kathy worked at Peat Marwick as a Supervising Senior from July 1986 to August 1989. Kathy Farrell earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Finance from the University of Georgia's Terry College of Business and holds a BBA in Accounting and Finance from Kent State University.
