Kevin Van Den Wymelenberg

Kevin Van Den Wymelenberg is a prominent academic and professional in the fields of design and architecture, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Taskshade since June 2021, where the focus is on harmonizing natural and built environments to enhance health and sustainability. Van Den Wymelenberg also holds the position of Dean and Professor at the Nebraska College of Design at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, starting in January 2023. Previously, from June 2015 to January 2023, Van Den Wymelenberg was the Associate Dean of Research & Facilities and the Director of the School of Architecture and Environment at the University of Oregon, while also founding the Institute for Health in the Built Environment. With extensive experience at the University of Idaho's Integrated Design Lab and other research roles, Van Den Wymelenberg has dedicated efforts to advancing energy-efficient buildings and practices, supported by a strong academic background including a PhD in Built Environment from the University of Washington.
