The board of directors at University of Nebraska is made up of individuals with experience in academia and public administration. Members of the board have previously worked as professors at Kansas State University and Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, and have also been educated at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas and Appalachian State University. The board is responsible for overseeing the university's operations and making sure that it is run effectively and efficiently.
