Kilian Stoffel obtained a doctorate in computer science from the University of Fribourg. He then worked as a researcher in the United States for several years (University of Maryland, Johns Hopkins University).
Professor of information systems at the UniNE since 1997, Kilian Stoffel quickly invested in the development of his institute, then of his faculty of which he was dean, and then within the UniNE by assuming a Vice Rector. He has been rector of the University of Neuchâtel since 2016.
