Grace Chou

Grace Chou is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in technology transfer, commercialization, and business development. Currently serving as Chief Innovation & Commercialization Officer at the University of Nevada, Reno, since August 2019, Grace Chou leads efforts in technology transfer and commercialization operations while also directing the Innevation Center to enhance the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the Reno-Tahoe area. Prior roles include Director of Manufacturing & Technology at the Nevada Governor's Office of Economic Development, Assistant Professor at Sierra Nevada College, and Director of Strategic Programs at DuPont Industrial Biosciences. With a solid academic foundation, including a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, Grace Chou is also a registered patent agent with a diverse career spanning various sectors.
