Joi Sherrod

Joi Sherrod, MPH, CPC, CPCO, is an experienced professional in healthcare compliance and education, currently serving as the Business Owner at JNC Healthcare Compliance Group since July 2016, where responsibilities include developing compliance standards for medical, dental, and behavioral practices. Joi is also an Adjunct Professor at the University of Nevada, Reno, and Purdue Global since January 2023 and June 2022, respectively, teaching online public health and health sciences courses. In addition, Joi holds a Senior Instructor II position at Ultimate Medical Academy, teaching psychology and medical courses for various programs. Past roles include Adjunct Faculty at Charter College and Certified Advanced Facilitator at the University of Phoenix, along with practical experience as a Patient Account Representative at Emory Healthcare and Accounts Receivable Specialist at Kentucky Medical Services Foundation. Joi holds a Master of Public Health in Health Services Management and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Kentucky.
