Danny Maxwell

Danny Maxwell is a Professor of Practice in the Department of Criminal Justice at the University of New Haven, a position held since September 1993. Prior to this role, Danny Maxwell served as a police officer for 20 years, first at the Greenwich Police Department from January 1982 to January 1988, and then at the Madison Department of Police Services from January 1988 to January 2008, where various positions included Patrol Officer and Senior Firearms Instructor. Danny Maxwell's academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Miami and multiple degrees from the University of New Haven, including a Master of Science in Criminal Justice and a Master of Public Administration, as well as ongoing doctoral studies in Criminal Justice.
