Desmond Anderson

Desmond Anderson currently serves as the Assistant Director of Employer Relations at the University of New Haven since November 2023. Previously, Desmond held the role of Development Associate at Lead Advisor, LLC from February 2021 to October 2023, assisting with talent acquisition and leadership development in the wealth management sector. Prior experience includes working as a Recruiting Consultant at Aerotek and as a Financial Services Representative at Barnum Financial Group, where Desmond was licensed in Life, Accident, and Health insurance. Desmond began a career in finance at Northwestern Mutual and has also held various roles in coaching and sports management, including serving as an Assistant Defensive Backs Coach at the University of New Haven and a Player/Coach in the Danish American Football Federation. Desmond holds both a Master’s Degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice/Investigative Services from the University of New Haven.
