Michael Eller

Adjunct Professor at University of New Orleans

Michael Eller is an accomplished academic and engineering professional with extensive experience in both educational and industrial settings. Since August 2014, Michael has served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of New Orleans, teaching a specialized course in Friction Stir Welding at the NASA Michoud Assembly Facility, designed for engineering students across Louisiana. In addition to academia, Michael has been an LM Fellow at Lockheed Martin Space since June 2006, contributing to significant aerospace projects. Michael's earlier experience includes internships as a Mechanical Engineer at Rehrig Pacific Company and an Engineering Intern at International Paper. Michael holds a Ph.D. in Engineering and Applied Sciences from the University of New Orleans, a Master’s in Engineering Management from Drexel University, and a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
