Pall Thordarson

Pall Thordarson is an accomplished academic and researcher with extensive experience in chemistry and RNA science. From November 2016 to April 2020, Pall served as the Director of the UNSW RNA Institute, leading efforts to address global challenges through innovative approaches in RNA chemistry, biology, and medicine. Pall's prior roles include Professor and Acting Head of School of Chemistry at UNSW, as well as a researcher with the ARC Australian Research Council from January 2006 to November 2007. Pall holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Organic Chemistry from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Chemistry from Háskóli Íslands.
