Stella Manoli, Ph.D., currently serves as the Head of Research Administration at the University of Nicosia since September 2024. In addition, Stella has been a STEM Ambassador with STEM Learning UK since February 2017, engaging with students aged 5-17 through public outreach and career talks. Previously, Stella was a Scientific Coordinator at The Cyprus Institute and a Teaching Associate at the University of Strathclyde, where responsibilities included designing and delivering undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Stella's academic experience includes a Knowledge Transfer Partnership Research Associate position with Covesion Ltd. and the University of Southampton focused on optical waveguide devices, as well as a PhD at the University of Sheffield on plant fibre-based composites. Stella's educational background features a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Crete, a Master of Science in Applied Physics from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education from the University of Strathclyde.
