Dean Weber

Dean Weber has over 26 years of experience in internal audit and risk management roles in the higher education sector. Dean currently serves as the Chief Audit Officer at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they lead the Internal Audit department in providing independent analyses of governance, operations, and financial activities. Prior to this, Dean was the Director of the Office of Internal Audit and Risk Assessment at the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education, where they developed and executed a comprehensive audit plan and established a quality assurance program. Dean also served as the Manager of the Internal Review Group, overseeing internal audit activities for the 14 State Universities in Pennsylvania.

Dean Weber holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Saint Francis University. Dean has obtained the Certified Internal Auditor certification from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. in 2004 and later received a Certification in Risk Management Assurance from the same institution in 2012.
