Madison Lin is currently a Community Engagement Intern at Breakthrough T1D, focusing on fundraising and outreach while engaging with families and healthcare partners. At the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Madison serves as a Bio 101 Lab TA and has been involved in multiple research roles, including working in the Zannas Lab on cross species stress epigenetics and completing a project on chronic stress in Killifish. Additionally, Madison has contributed to the Anthropology Department's Human Biology Lab, exploring the impacts of acculturation on diabetes risk among South Asian immigrants. Previous experiences include a Nutrition Education Internship with the Carolina Hunger Initiative and a position as an Assistant Educator at the Museum of Life and Science. Madison Lin is pursuing a degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with a graduation date set for May 2026.
