Emergency Management Coordinator at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill

Ronald Campbell has extensive experience in emergency management, currently serving as the Emergency Management Coordinator at UNC Chapel Hill since August 2009, where responsibilities include creating and maintaining an effective Emergency Management program tailored to the university environment. Prior to this role, Ronald was the Region IV President for IAEM from 2009 to 2012, acting as a spokesperson for Region 4 to the IAEM USA Board. Ronald also implemented a new Emergency Management program for Guilford County from 2003 to 2009 and served as Area 10 Coordinator at NCEM from 1993 to 2003, managing seven counties and responding to various emergencies. Earlier career experience includes serving as Assistant Director at W-S Forsyth County EM from 1989 to 1993. Ronald holds a Master Exercise Practitioner (MEP) certification in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management from the Emergency Management Institute, a Disaster Management Certificate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
