Shayla Lamb

Shayla Lamb, MBA, currently serves as the Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill since August 2022. Previous experience includes positions as the Graduate Assistant Coach for Men's Rowing at Jacksonville University from August 2020 to July 2022 and as a Fitness Coach at Orangetheory Fitness from March 2021 to February 2022. Shayla also worked as the Executive Assistant to the CEO & President at Boom Sports from September 2019 to August 2020 and gained experience in public relations as part of the game night staff for the Detroit Red Wings from September 2018 to June 2019. Early career highlights include being an NCAA Division 1 Rower and serving as a Student Ambassador Intern and Production Intern at the University of Michigan Athletics from September 2015 to June 2019, along with a Media Relations Internship with the Pittsburgh Penguins in the summer of 2018. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Sport Management from the University of Michigan and a Master of Business Administration from Jacksonville University.
