Chesley Kennedy

Coordinator- Spartan Recovery Program (srp) at UNCG

Chesley Kennedy, M.Div., LCAS, currently serves as the Coordinator of the Spartan Recovery Program at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro since March 2020, while also holding the position of Interim Pastor at Heidelberg United Church of Christ since May 2022. Kennedy is a trainer for the National Council for Mental Wellbeing and operates as a professional coach, focusing on personal growth through current research and assessments. Previous roles include Director of Development at UNC Greensboro and Pastor at The Dinner Church GSO, among others. Kennedy's educational background includes a Master of Divinity from Duke Divinity School, a Graduate Certificate in Substance Abuse Counseling from East Carolina University, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Education, Leadership, and Cultural Foundations at UNC Greensboro.
