Lauren D. Cunningham

Lauren D. Cunningham, MPA, is an experienced professional in community engagement and higher education. Currently serving as the Assistant Director for Academic Service-Learning at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro since December 2015, Lauren has also been the owner of Livin' as Lauren and Lauren Cunningham Music since June 2012, focusing on creating and performing music for communities nationwide. Prior experience includes roles as Community Engagement Coordinator at Western Kentucky University's ALIVE Center for Community Partnerships from April 2013 to December 2015, where Lauren oversaw programs that facilitated community-based research and service-learning. Additionally, Lauren served as a Residence Hall Director and Program Director for Kaleidoscope Youth in Arts at Western Kentucky University, managing a residential facility and coordinating artistic opportunities for K-12 students. Lauren holds a Master's degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism, both from Western Kentucky University.
