Michael Marshall

Michael Marshall has extensive experience in both academic research and legal practice. Currently serving as a Senior Licensing Associate at UNC Greensboro since August 2010, Michael manages university agreements to ensure compliance with regulations and evaluates the commercial potential of innovation intellectual property. Prior to this role, Michael held the position of Project Manager at the UNC Greensboro Center for Biotechnology, Genomics and Health Research, where management of research activities led to several US patents related to microbial DNA analysis. With a strong academic background, Michael earned a PhD in Nanoscience and an MS in Biology from UNC Greensboro, a JD from Wake Forest University School of Law, and a BSE in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Duke University.
