Vas Taras

Vas Taras currently serves as (co) Editor-in-Chief at The International Journal of Human Resource Management since June 2025 and as Department Head of the Department of Management at the Bryan School of Business and Economics at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro since August 2023. In addition, Vas Taras holds the position of Vice President Administration at the Academy of International Business, overseeing multiple AIB Chapters and the Research Methods Shared Interest Group. Vas Taras is a Professor of International Business at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and has been a Director of X-Culture since August 2010. Prior academic roles include Associate Professor at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro from January 2009 to July 2022 and Associate Journal Editor for IJCCM from 2012 to 2013. Vas Taras completed a PhD in International Management at the University of Calgary and a Master's in Public Affairs with a focus on Political Economy at The University of Texas at Dallas, along with a BS in Economics and Management from Rivne State Technical University.
