Charles Gorecki

Charles Gorecki is the Chief Executive Officer of the Energy & Environmental Research Center (EERC), leading a team of over 270 professionals focused on innovative energy and environmental technology research and development since September 2007. Prior roles at the EERC include Director of Subsurface R&D, Senior Research Manager, Research Manager, and Research Engineer, where Charles Gorecki contributed significantly to projects such as the Plains CO2 Reduction Partnership and various geologic modeling efforts. Charles Gorecki has military experience as a Combat Engineer Specialist in the North Dakota Army National Guard and as a Corporal in the Minnesota Army National Guard. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Geological/Geophysical Engineering, both from the University of North Dakota.
