D. Rob Haley

D. Rob Haley, PhD, MBA, MHS has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. D. Rob is currently the Founding Partner, President, and CEO of StrategyGen Co., a healthcare reform consultancy. Prior to this, they served as the Founding Partner and Executive Vice President of StrategyGen Co. where they provided advisory services to business and government leaders.

Dr. Haley also has a strong academic background. D. Rob worked at the University of North Florida as a Tenured Professor and Director of Health Administration, where they developed and implemented curriculum for graduate and undergraduate health administration programs. D. Rob was designated as a Fulbright Senior Specialist in Global and Public Health during their time there. D. Rob also served as an Assistant Professor in Health Administration Programs and a Director of Health Administration Programs at the same institution.

Before their academic career, Dr. Haley held positions in the healthcare industry. D. Rob worked at Florida Blue as Senior Director of Research and Strategic Market Intelligence, managing a team and implementing segmentation methodologies. D. Rob also worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida as a Senior Health Policy Analyst, providing policy analysis and representing the health insurance industry on state commissions.

Earlier in their career, Dr. Haley conducted research and analysis at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they worked as a Research Assistant and Fellow. D. Rob also worked at Martin Memorial Health Systems as Director of Decision Support, where they contributed to the development of ambulatory care facilities and conducted market research studies.

Before entering the healthcare field, Dr. Haley gained experience in sales roles at Russell Stover Chocolates and COUNTY SEAT STORES, INC. D. Rob was also an Ambassador at the University of South Florida.

D. Rob Haley, PhD, MBA, MHS, completed a PhD in Health Policy and Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. D. Rob also earned a Master of Health Science (MHS) degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from the University of Florida. Additionally, they hold an MBA from the University of Florida - Warrington College of Business, with a focus on Business Administration, Management, and Operations. D. Rob'sundergraduate education includes a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Natural Science from the University of South Florida. D. Rob Haley obtained their high school diploma from Chamberlain High School. D. Rob is also recognized as a CAHME Fellow by the CAHME | Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education, a certification they obtained in 2021.
