Henry Thomas serves as Associate Professor Emeritus at the University of North Florida since 1988, following a notable tenure as a Professor at Florida International University from 1977 to 1988. Prior to his academic roles, Thomas worked as a Budget Analyst for the City of Rochester from 1972 to 1975 and held the position of Chief of Staff at the FIGHT Organization between 1970 and 1974. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate in Public Administration from the University of Southern California, a Master’s in Systems Analysis & Applied Economics from the University of Rochester - Simon Business School, and a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from UCLA. Thomas completed high school at St. Augustine High School in New Orleans, Louisiana, and attended Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School.
