Donna Asher

Donna Asher, Ph.D., SPHR, SHRM-SCP, currently serves as the Vice Chancellor for People, Equity and Culture and Deputy Chief Human Capital Officer at the University of North Texas System, overseeing core Human Resources services across multiple institutions. Asher previously held the role of Associate Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration, managing shared services operations that supported various functions including procurement and human resources. With extensive experience in academic administration, including a tenure as Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs at the University of North Texas, Asher has worked as a chief academic budget officer and human resources officer overseeing significant budgets and personnel. Donna Asher holds an MBA in Human Resources Management, a BS in Accounting, and a Ph.D. in Information Science, all from the University of North Texas.
