Ginger Sigmon

Managing Director Of NNSA Actinide Center Of Excellence at University of Notre Dame

Ginger Sigmon currently serves as the Director of Research Development and Administration at Duke University Nicholas School of the Environment since July 2024. Prior to this role, Ginger held multiple positions at the University of Notre Dame, including Managing Director of the NNSA Actinide Center of Excellence, Managing Director of ND Energy, and Managing Director of Materials Science of Actinides, EFRC, beginning in September 2009. Ginger earned a Ph.D. in Actinide Crystal Chemistry from the University of Notre Dame between 2005 and 2010, and a BS in Chemistry and Geology from North Carolina State University from August 2001 to May 2005.
