Kenneth Heckel

Kenneth Heckel is an experienced professional in military and educational administration, currently serving as the Director of the Office of Military & Veterans Affairs and Director of Regional Development at the University of Notre Dame since August 2019. Previous roles include Director of Academy Advancement at the United States Military Academy at West Point and Assistant Professor of Economics at the same institution. Kenneth's military experience encompasses various leadership positions, including Commander of the 82d Financial Management Company and Charlie Company, 82nd Paratrooper Support Battalion, and Comptroller for the 3rd Special Forces Group. Kenneth holds a Doctor of Education in Higher Education Administration from Northeastern University, an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, and a BBA in Finance and Business Economics from the University of Notre Dame.
