Clive Roberts

Pro-Vice Chancellor, Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences at University of Nottingham

Clive Roberts is an accomplished academic and leader in the field of Pharmaceutical Nanotechnology, currently serving as the Head of the School of Life Sciences at the University of Nottingham since October 1990. Clive's extensive career includes roles as Interim Pro Vice Chancellor for the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Head of the School of Pharmacy, and Director of the Nottingham Nanotechnology and Nanoscience Centre, which Clive founded and now operates as the Nottingham Micro and Nanotechnology Centre. With a strong academic background, Clive progressed from a postdoctoral researcher to a reader in Biomedical Nanotechnology and has served as a lecturer in Biophysics. Clive's industry experience includes directorial roles at Eminate Limited and Molecular Profiles, where Clive was the Technology Development Director. Clive earned both a Bachelor of Science and a PhD in Physics and Surface Science from Imperial College London.
