Denise McLean

Denise McLean currently serves as Club Secretary for Ubuntu Speakers since June 2024 and is a nominated member of the University Executive Board on the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Sub-committee at the University of Nottingham, where responsibilities include developing and implementing the university’s equality strategy. With a background as a Senior Technical Specialist at the National Technician Development Centre from July 2020 to August 2024, Denise provided expert advice on equality, diversity, and inclusion, contributing to the support of the technical community. Additionally, Denise was the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Project Lead on the TALENT Programme at Midlands Innovation from March 2021 to September 2023. Denise's educational background includes studies at St. Catherine High School in Jamaica and Nottingham Trent University.
