Dr Nalayini Thambar

Dr. Nalayini Thambar serves as the Director of Planning, Performance and Strategic Change at the University of Nottingham since July 2013, overseeing the delivery of strategic services, including Strategy and Planning and Insight and Analytics. Previously, Dr. Thambar held roles such as Programme Director for Getting in Shape, enhancing university efficiency, and Director of Careers and Employability, leading career development services for students and alumni. Additional contributions include fellow status at NICEC and a director role at AGCAS, where Dr. Thambar advanced quality assurance in higher education careers services. Prior positions include Assistant Director at the University of Leeds and External Examiner at the University of Bradford, alongside consulting roles since 1998.
