Leanne Sowter

Leanne Sowter has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. From 2011 to 2014, they worked at Questmark as a Help Desk Representative. Leanne then joined the University of Leicester in 2014 and held positions such as Student Records and Operations Administrator, Projects Administrator, Process Consultant, and Continuous Improvement Facilitator. In 2019, Leanne moved to the University of Nottingham, where they worked as an Analyst (Statutory Data) before being promoted to the role of Head of Data Governance in October 2022.

Leanne Sowter obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History from the University of Leicester in the years 2008-2011. Leanne has also obtained various certifications throughout the years, including a Leadership and Management Academy Stepping into Leadership certification from the University of Nottingham in 2023, a Foundation of Data Governance Learning Path certification from Collibra in June 2023, a Lean Six Sigma Orange Belt certification from the University of Nottingham in 2022, and an Alteryx Designer Core certification from Alteryx in October 2021. Leanne has further certifications in areas such as leadership, data analysis, and project management.
