Nancy Hughes PhD is an experienced UX researcher currently serving as a Senior UX Researcher at the University of Nottingham since August 2022. Prior to this role, Nancy was a Design Researcher at Nightingale Design Research from January 2021 to May 2022, where responsibilities included managing client relationships and facilitating diverse research studies. Nancy's background includes research fellow positions at the University of Nottingham's Human Factors Research Group and Horizon Digital Economy Research, focusing on projects related to autonomous taxis and hospital navigation, respectively. Additionally, Nancy has contributed to academia as a Visiting Lecturer at Nottingham Trent University and other institutions, alongside previous experience as a Usability Specialist at the University of Oxford and a Lecturer at Liverpool John Moores University. Nancy holds a PhD in Interaction Design from Birmingham City University and a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design from Kingston University.
