Richard Hyde

Richard Hyde is a Professor of Law, Regulation and Governance at the University of Nottingham, where employment spans from January 2013 to the present, having progressed from Assistant Professor to Associate Professor. Hyde's research focuses on regulation and governance, particularly in the food sector, with recent publications including an analysis of the European novel foods regime. Previous experience includes serving as a Lecturer in Law at Northumbria University from September 2011 to December 2012 and working at Browne Jacobson LLP from 2003 to 2005 as a Trainee and then Assistant Solicitor. Hyde holds a Ph.D. in Law from the University of Nottingham and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Durham University.
