Simon Lammy currently serves as the RCSeng Senior Clinical Fellow in Neuro Oncology at the University of Nottingham and holds multiple academic positions at the University of Glasgow, including Academic FY1/2 Supervisor, Neuro Oncology Research Fellow, Honorary Clinical Lecturer, and SpR Neurological Surgery. With an extensive background in neurosurgical training, Simon has also been a Faculty Tutor and Course Director for the Royal College of Surgeons of England since 2013, contributing to various educational initiatives in surgical education. Additionally, Simon has authored significant works in surgical critical care published by Cambridge University Press and teaches Advanced Life Support with the Resuscitation Council (UK). A self-taught photographer, Simon documents neurosurgery through Simon Lammy Photography and is pursuing a PhD in Cancer at the University of Glasgow. Simon possesses various surgical qualifications, including FRCS in Neurosurgery, MRCS, and additional degrees in health research, surgical sciences, and neuroscience.
