Desiree Hill

Desiree Hill, PhD, currently serves as the Assistant Dean of Student Affairs at the University of Oklahoma since October 2023. Previously, Desiree held various academic positions at the University of Central Oklahoma from August 2011 to October 2023, where responsibilities included teaching courses in media management, television producing, and qualitative research. Desiree’s extensive industry experience includes serving as Vice President of News at Pappas Telecasting, overseeing news departments, and previous roles as executive producer at KWTV and KOCO-TV. Desiree's educational background includes a PhD in Journalism Management from the University of Oklahoma and a Master's Degree in Journalism from the University of North Texas.
