Shellie Chard

Shellie Chard serves as an Advisory Board Member for the Gallogly College of Engineering at the University of Oklahoma since October 2023. With a distinguished career in public service, Shellie has been the Water Quality Division Director at the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality since July 1993. In addition, Shellie holds the position of Treasurer for the Ground Water Protection Council and has been a member of the National Drinking Water Advisory Council since March 2021. Shellie previously contributed as a Board Trustee for the Water Environment Federation from October 2020 to October 2023 and served as President of the Association of State Drinking Water Administrators in 2020. Shellie Chard earned a degree from the University of Oklahoma, attending from 1988 to 1992.
