Elizabeth Knight

Elizabeth Knight is currently a PhD student at the University of Oregon, beginning in August 2024. Prior experience includes positions at The Cambridge School of Weston as faculty and dorm parent from February 2022 to June 2024, and as an assistant competitive climbing coach at Central Rock Gym from January 2022 to June 2024. Elizabeth also served as a Ladd Fellow at Reed College in early 2021, conducting research with Professor Miriam Bowring on the effects of excess trifluoroacetic acid. Additional roles at Reed College include teaching assistant in the inorganic chemistry lab, master carpenter, stage manager, and scene shop assistant from November 2017 to May 2020. Other experiences include serving as communications lead for the Reed College Hub within the Sunrise Movement and running summer classes at OMSI. Elizabeth received a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Reed College in 2021.
