Andy Nguyen

Andy Nguyen is a tenure-track assistant professor at the University of Oulu and an adjunct professor in applied artificial intelligence. Currently, work involves a project funded by the Academy of Finland focusing on multimodal learning analytics with artificial intelligence. Additionally, Nguyen serves as a mentor at Funix University and has held various academic roles, including postgraduate marker, casual academic staff, and guest lecturer at the University of Auckland, where significant contributions were made to course development and research analysis for accreditation. Previous experience includes leadership as executive director at KiwiEdu and technical roles at 3i Innovation and other companies. Academic qualifications comprise a Ph.D. and multiple degrees in information systems and business from the University of Auckland.
