Matti Silveri

Matti Silveri is an Associate Professor on a tenure track at the University of Oulu, where research focuses on many-body physics in superconducting circuits. Previously, Matti served as an Academy of Finland Research Fellow and a Postdoctoral Researcher at the same institution, as well as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Aalto University School of Science and Technology, concentrating on cooling quantum circuits. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Associate role at Yale University, specializing in quantum devices and quantum error correction, and a Researcher position at the University of Oulu, where physical and mathematical modeling of superconducting quantum bits was conducted, resulting in several publications in esteemed journals. Matti's teaching background includes serving as a Teaching Assistant in various physics courses and as a Substitute Teacher for mathematics and languages in secondary and vocational schools. Education consists of a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and a Master of Science in Theoretical Physics, both obtained at the University of Oulu.
