Boyang Qin

Boyang Qin is a tenure-track associate professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, having started in July 2023. Prior to this position, Boyang served as a post-doctoral researcher at Princeton University from August 2018 to July 2023, working within the Departments of Molecular Biology and Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. Boyang's academic journey includes a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, where studies were conducted from September 2013 to June 2018, along with roles as a research and teaching assistant and president of the Penn Mechanical Engineering Graduate Association. Earlier academic accomplishments consist of dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Mathematics from Lafayette College. Boyang's research experience includes developing code for fluid dynamics and simulations related to airfoil behavior.
