Kal Patel

Kal Patel is an experienced investor and advisor with a strong background in early-stage and angel investing, particularly in technology-driven innovations. Since July 2011, Kal has been involved with Jarin Capital, focusing on mentorship and investment in university spin-outs. Additionally, since September 2018, Kal has served as a Leadership Mentor and Advisor at the University of Oxford's Oxford Foundry, guiding undergraduate and postgraduate students. Prior professional roles include Group Director at Home Retail Group PLC, where Kal collaborated with the CEO to drive strategic renewal, and a position as Member of the Executive Committee at LRN, supporting global growth initiatives. As a Partner and Senior Advisor at VantagePoint Venture Partners, Kal contributed to investment strategies and guided portfolio companies. Kal holds an MBA from London Business School and is an ACMA graduate from CIMA.
