Stanislav Gubenko is a Doctoral Researcher at the University of Luxembourg, focusing on Chinese infrastructure development in Europe from a human rights perspective, specifically in the Western Balkans. Additionally, Gubenko serves as an intern at LuxDev, the Luxembourg Development Cooperation Agency, working on the implementation of the "Business and Human Rights" National Pact. Gubenko is also a Research Associate for the "China, Law and Development" project at the University of Oxford, which investigates the role of law in China's global development. Gubenko previously assisted at the Human Rights Centre at the University of Padova on a human rights project and has experience as a freelance Chinese language teacher and translator, having supported various official engagements in both China and Russia. Gubenko holds a Master of Arts in European and Global Studies from the Università degli Studi di Padova and a Bachelor of Arts in Oriental Studies from the Higher School of Economics.
