Mariam Williams

Mariam Williams currently serves as Program Manager at the University of Pennsylvania since February 2024. Previously, Mariam held positions such as Project Director at the Free Library of Philadelphia from June 2020 to March 2023 and at the Philadelphia Area Consortium of Special Collections Libraries from September 2018 to May 2020. Additional experience includes work as a Columnist/Blogger for National Catholic Reporter and an Instructor for the Rutgers University REaCH Program. Mariam has also contributed as Lab Manager for Monument Lab at Mural Arts Philadelphia and as Digital Editor for Mid-Atlantic Regional Center for the Humanities. Education includes a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing and Public History from Rutgers University - Camden, a Master of Arts in Pan African Studies from the University of Louisville, and a BA in Psychology, Spanish, and Painting from Washington University in St. Louis, along with additional qualifications in screenwriting.
