Peter Eckel

Peter Eckel, Ph. D, currently serves as Senior Fellow and Director of Leadership Programs at the University of Pennsylvania since August 2014. Prior to this role, Peter was the Vice President for Programs and Research at the Association of Governing Boards from October 2011 to August 2014. Peter also directed the Center for Effective Leadership at the American Council on Education from May 1998 to September 2011. Peter Eckel earned a Ph.D. in Education Policy and Administration from the University of Maryland and holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Michigan State University.
