Robin Joshi

Robin Joshi is a Senior Research Investigator at the University of Pennsylvania since February 2023, with extensive experience in natural products and analytical chemistry. Prior to this role, Robin served as a Senior Technical Officer-III at the CSIR-Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology from July 2007 to January 2023, progressing through various positions that included expertise in HPLC, GC, SFE, LC-MS, NMR, FT-IR, AAS, GC-MS, and UPLC technologies while conducting research on tea and other medicinal plants. Robin also worked as a Senior Research Fellow at Chaudhary Sarwan Kumar Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyalaya in 2013, focusing on the extraction and identification of phytochemicals from fruits and vegetable crops. Education includes a PhD in Chemistry from the CSIR-Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology and master’s and bachelor’s degrees in Chemistry and Education from Barkatullah University and the University of Jammu, respectively.
