Charles Guthrie

Charles Guthrie, MSN, RN, NEA-BC, CPN, is an accomplished nursing professional currently serving as the Executive Director of Student Health Services at the University of Pittsburgh since June 2023. In addition to this role, Charles is a Clinical Instructor at Duquesne University, a position held since January 2022. Prior to these roles, Charles was the Clinical Director at UPMC, responsible for overseeing various departments, including Emergency and Trauma Services, from May 2018 to June 2023. Charles's extensive experience includes a 18-year tenure at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, where responsibilities ranged from Director overseeing multiple inpatient services to Professional Staff Nurse in the General Surgery unit. Charles holds a Master’s degree in Nursing Administration from Waynesburg University and both Bachelor's and Associate's degrees in Registered Nursing from Penn State University.
