Assistant Chair For Graduate Professional Development, Bioengineering

Justin Weinbaum currently serves as the Assistant Chair for Graduate Professional Development in the Department of Bioengineering at the University of Pittsburgh, where responsibilities include organizing workshops and content for MS and PhD trainees, as well as instructing the two-semester class BIOENG 2024. Additionally, Justin acts as the Hillman Summer Academy Mentor and Site Director, coordinating educational activities and mentoring high school students in research. Justin's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from Washington University in St. Louis and a B.S. in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry from Yale University.
