Kristian Borysiak

Kristian Borysiak is an accomplished engineering student at the University of Pittsburgh's Swanson School of Engineering, with a focus on aerospace and structural engineering. As President of the Society of Astronautics and Rocketry's SEDS Chapter, Kristian manages a prominent student organization, organizes events, and oversees recruitment. Experience includes roles as Lead Propulsion Engineer and Lead Structural Engineer, where Kristian spearheaded the development of flight-ready rocket motors and co-authored award-winning design reports. Currently an Atmospheric Science Researcher for NASA's Nationwide Eclipse Ballooning Project, Kristian analyzes flight data and utilizes MATLAB for research purposes. Additionally, teaching assistant roles have provided support in engineering courses. Previous internships at Oceaneering and S&P Global have further enriched Kristian's practical engineering knowledge and skills.
