Kyle Kenia

Director Community Leisure Learn Programs at University of Pittsburgh

Kyle Kenia is an experienced professional in community outreach and program management, currently serving as the Director of Community Leisure Learn Programs at the University of Pittsburgh since January 2015. In this role, Kyle oversees the university's oldest outreach program, which provides various youth and adult community programs, including Pitt's Kids Saturday and Summer Camp, as well as the Guest Pass Program. Prior to this position, Kyle worked as Program Director at Sarah Heinz House, the largest single unit Boys and Girls Club in the nation, where responsibilities included managing outreach programs for over 1,100 members. Kyle's background also includes a position as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Pittsburgh, focusing on VO2 Max research and assisting with the Division 1 swim team. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Health and Physical Activity from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education/Biology from Norwich University.
