Professor Of Radiology, Professor Of Bioengineering, Associate Dean Clinical Imaging Research at University of Pittsburgh

Kyongtae Bae serves as a Clinical Professor and Head of the Department of Diagnostic Radiology at The University of Hong Kong since May 2022, while also holding positions as a Professor of Radiology, Professor of Bioengineering, and Associate Dean for Clinical Imaging Research at the University of Pittsburgh since August 2006. Previously, Kyongtae Bae was the Chairman of Radiology at the University of Pittsburgh and UPMC from January 2010 to September 2014, and an Associate Professor of Radiology and Bioengineering at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology, Washington University from July 1992 to August 2006. Educational qualifications include an M.B.A. from The Wharton School, an M.D. from The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, a Ph.D. in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering, and a Master’s degree in the same fields from the University of Pennsylvania, as well as a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Iowa and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Seoul National University.
