Pinar Yalcin

Pinar Yalcin currently serves as a University Museums Operations Assistant at the University of Richmond, where responsibilities include preparing condition reports and supporting museum operations. Previous experience includes roles as an Associate Research Fellow focusing on Turkish political norms, Equipment Manager and Facility Coordinator at Weinstein Recreation Center and the Multicultural Area, respectively. Pinar has achieved recognition as a State record-breaking powerlifter with USA Powerlifting and engages as a Climate Activist with Fridays For Future USA. Leadership positions include Co-President of GreenUR and Young Leader with the Sierra Club, advocating for ecological policies and participating in legislative actions. Involvement with the Westhampton College Government Association includes serving as a Senator, while past activities include chairing committees at the European Youth Parliament and tutoring geography at UWC Dilijan. Pinar is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government at the University of Richmond.
